ONE of the stars of the Chagford Show last Thursday were undoubtedly the Imps Motorcycle Display Team who revved up the crowd with their daring stunts.

Members, aged between five and 16-years-old, gave a mesmerising display of discipline and skill, with their complex cross-overs, split second timing, pyramids and team work. The Imps, who wear distinctive smart red tunics, were formed 40 years ago in East London to benefit under privileged children. They are now much in demand all over the world. Some of their fans include the King and Queen of Jordan, who invited them to their country for a display — the Imps so impressed the royal couple they were given Jordan's national flag which they now use for their shows.
