THE Rotary Club of Yelverton was celebrating recently after success with its Christmas charity collection.

Yelverton Rotarians raised in excess of £1,900, visiting the villages of Buckland Monachorum, Crapstone, Dousland, Horrabridge, Princetown, Walkhampton and Yelverton with their Christmas sleigh and Santa Claus.

Club president Terry Donnelly, on behalf of the rest of the club, expressed thanks to all those who contributed, which has provided a huge boost to the club's annual fundraising for charitable causes.
