A FANTASTIC £2,000 was raised at the recent fun day organised by the Rotary Club of Hatherleigh. The club has donated £600 to the Holsworthy branch of the RNLI and £600 to the Children?s Hospice South West. A further £500 will be sent to the Rotary Foundation for use in various good causes ? this will be matched by donations from the foundation. The remaining money was held in the Hatherleigh club?s charity account and has been used to send two Shelterboxes to help aid relief efforts in Pakistan and Guatemala.
