TAVISTOCKs Bedford Square was the stage for Morris dancers last Saturday, when the Ladies of the Rolling Pin and Jack in the Green Morris Men capered and reeled for an appreciatative audience of onlookers.

Both teams, on tour from the USA, were joined by their local hosts Wreckers Morris from St Dominick and the Plymouth Morris Men.

The dancing was introduced by Callington town crier Denis Cook.

The dancers ended their day at Morwellham Quay with more dancing and cream teas.

They will continue their tour of England in the Cotswolds.
