TRACTORS dating from the late 1930s onwards rolled through the countryside around Okehampton in a colourful and noisy procession last weekend.

A total of 41 vintage vehicles were taking part in the North and East Dartmoor Vintage Working Society annual spring tractor road run around the Okehampton area countryside last Sunday .

The vehicles began their road run from Mole Avon in Okehampton at 10.30am. A scenic route of about 20 miles took the engines through a number of villages, eventually ending up for lunch at the Post Inn at Whiddon Down at about 1.30pm.
