THERE are still spaces available for stalls at an exciting new Saturday market in Hatherleigh this Easter.

The first Ruby Country Market will take place on April 7 at the current market site.

To entertain shoppers, Hatherleigh-based musician Josie Lloyd, is co-ordinating an all day programme of live music, and Svend Bayer will be putting on an all-day pottery demonstration.

Other attractions include a general auction and 'attractions of yesteryear' stall. The Easter market will be the first of four Saturday markets, with others planned for June 2, August 11 and December 1. The market will be open from 10am to 4pm, and will support Devon Air Ambulance Trust.
