THREE of Devon?s most promising Christian rock bands will be performing this Saturday (May 22) at a music festival for young people in Mid-Devon.
Pure Orange 2004 has been organised by Connect, a Christian Youth Work outreach project serving Mid-Devon and is being supported by a number of Okehampton church leaders.
The organisation of the event has been led by a group of gap year students and it is hoped around 300 young people will attend the event.
Topping the bill are V12 and Escapade, who have both been hugely popular at Cross Rhythms, the region?s premier Christian music festival.
Also playing are the group Hand-Made, and in addition to the live bands, there will be seminars, worship, cafe, skate-boarding and five-a-side football and other games.
Pure Orange takes place at Trenchard Airfield at Eggesford, near Chulmleigh, between 4pm and 10pm.
Entry costs £3, for more details about the event e-mail: [email protected]">[email protected]
