West Devon hill farmers during their protest on Saturday held at Pork Hill on the Tavistock to Princetown road.
They were drawing attention to the Government's recent announcement that under new arrangements upland farmers stand to lose financial support which has been available to help them maintain the environment.
Farmers say incomes will be cut by 50 per cent and the south west alone stands to lose £1.5 million a year.
