THE road from Boasley Cross to Cowsen Cross will be closed to through traffic for nine weeks while utility works are completed. The road traffic closure comes into force from Monday, January 8. An alternative route will be in operation from Boasley Cross to Venndown Gate Cross to Thorndon Cross and vice versa. l A five week road closure will be in place near Northlew for utility works. The road between Greendown Cross and Loveland Cross will be closed to through traffic from Friday, January 12. An alternative route will be established from Greendown Cross to Crownden Cross to Northlew; to Station Road to Ashbury Station Cross and vice versa. l Part of Park Road in Hatherleigh will be temporally closed for three days next week. The closure from Tuesday, January 9, is to allow new connection works to be completed. A diversion will be in place via Victoria Road, South Street, Bridge Street and Market Street.
