THE road leading into Crelake Industrial Estate in Tavistock was closed off on Tuesday afternoon after an articulated lorry collided with the railings of the Tavistock Youth Café hut.

Only essential traffic was allowed to use the road which was covered with diesel leaked from the lorry, while police tried to wash the oil away.

The driver of the lorry was unhurt.
