LETS hear it for The Silver Bell — an original fairy tale created by Tavistock-based Miss Trudi's Stage Group which is being performed at The Wharf from Wednesday to Saturday, June 21 to 24.

The script and music is written by Monique Bushell who was originally a member of Tavistock's Personalities. Monique has already appeared at the Plymouth Theatre Royal with the Theatre Royal Youth Music Theatre Group, the Plymouth Gilbert and Sullivan Fellowship and Tavistock Operatic Society.

The Silver Bell has a cast of more than 40 local children in roles of farmers, villagers, fairies and animals.

Miss Trudi's Tavistock Children's Theatre Group was formed three years ago for local children who enjoy theatre work. It is run by adult volunteers who are all members of local theatrical societies.

The show starts at 7.20pm with a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.
