TAVISTOCK got back to winning ways with this comfortable win on a hot Sunday morning at Langsford park.

The home team went in front after 17-mins when good work from March set up Ridgeway to slot home from 10 yards. Shortly after Bacon hit the woodwork. After 26 mins the home team extended their lead; some passing moves from Wall and Halfyard resulted in Ridgeway racing clear and superbly lobbed the oncoming keeper for his second.

Early in the second half Tavistock were awarded a penalty after Bacon was fouled. Hijiani duly converted the spot kick. After pressure from the visitors, stand in keeper meads pulled off a couple of fine saves and the defensive partnership of Bradford and Babb remained solid.

Ridgeway got his hat-trick on 51 mins when he turned the defender to slot home from six yards.

Potts was unlucky not to have extended the lead after a good run and a deflected shot struck the crossbar.
