BIKE riders from all over West Devon packed out the 80-seat cinema in Yelverton last Saturday to watch an exclusive screening of legendary mountain biker Steve Peat.
The movie 'Won't Back Down' was about the popular British Down Hill rider from Sheffield who became world champion.
The sell-out screening of the movie was one of simultaneous presentations taking place all over Europe — and it was down to two local riders that made Yelverton the only place in Devon to screen the movie.
Alex Batson and James Scawn worked together to bring the moving story of how 'Peaty' struggled for more than 16 years to take the World Championship title, to the area.
Yelverton Cinema is run by volunteers who screen films on a regular basis at St Paul's Church Hall.
The popular event raised around £210 for Devon Air Ambulance.
