Mount House School entered a team of four horses and riders in this year's Inter-schools mini and junior One Day Event Team Championships at Stonar in Wiltshire.

The event encompasses dressage, show jumping and cross-country all in one day, and means that both horses and riders need to be fit and well-prepared.

The Mount House team comprised India Lewis on Something Nice, Barnaby Treneer riding Remus, Edward Barlow and Diesel and Elsa Kent who was riding Brandy Elite.

The Mount House team came 15th out of 43 schools entered in this year's competition.

With about 200 children riding on the day, split across four classes, Elsa Kent came fourth in her individual class, Barney Treneer was placed 16th and India Lewis 20th in their class.
