THE route of a charity horse ride this year, in aid of a Tavistock child's autism treatment, has been changed. The Dartmoor Horse Ride for Autism Awareness and Paul Lewis's Son-Rise programme for autism on Sunday, April 13, will now see horse riders do a circular ride from the East Dart Hotel, back around the moor to the hotel. Horse riders can take part to help raise awareness of the programme — a treatment Paul Lewis, 6, is currently using. The ride is also being supported by Bob Champion, the winner of the 1981 Grand National. Anyone who would like to take part in the event, contact Allen Lewis, Paul's father, on 01822 614335.
