TAVISTOCK College sixth form students are to be rewarded for outstanding hard work and achievement in a brand new scheme designed to recognise their efforts.
The scheme will see top students scooping free driving lessons from Tavistock-based Mark J Harris School of Motoring and tickets for Tree Surfers at Gulworthy.
Pete Keegan, assistant director of sixth form, expressed 'enormous gratitude' to Mark J Harris School of Motoring and Tree Surfers for donating the rewards. 'Their generosity means those students who go the extra mile and achieve exceptionally highly will be properly recognised.'
Students will be nominated by their tutors each half term based on their attitude, effort and attainment, as well as their volunteer work in the school and local community.
Staff will select the top performer from Year 12 to receive a driving lesson, while Year 13s' best student will pick up two tickets for a tree surfing session.
