PEOPLE across West Devon are being asked to give their views on the borough council's plans for the future by completing a questionnaire either online or in the council's magazine West Devon Connect.
The council would like to know what services are most — and least — important to people.
The answers will help shape the future of West Devon and assist the Council to make some crucial decisions in deciding its budget for the coming financial year.
Cllr James McInnes, leader of the council, said: 'West Devon Borough Council receives just 12% of your council tax for the services it provides and it's vital that we know how our residents feel this money should be spent.
'The questionnaire takes just a few minutes to complete yet it's extremely important that we hear from as many people as possible so we know what residents' views are.'
The questionnaire can be completed online at http://www.westdevon.gov.uk/BudgetSurvey">www.westdevon.gov.uk/BudgetSurvey
The survey is also available to complete in the council's magazine West Devon Connect which is being delivered to every home in West Devon this month.
The magazine is also available at a wide range of outlets including the council's offices at Kilworthy Park, Tavistock; the council's customer services centre at 10, St James Street in Okehampton; Tourist Information centres in Bedford Square, Tavistock and the Museum Courtyard in Okehampton, and at local libraries.
Completed surveys should be returned to the council by Friday December 19. Please send it Freepost to Budget Survey, West Devon Borough Council, FREEPOST PY104, Tavistock PL19 0BZ.
Alternatively, hand it in to West Devon Borough Council's offices at Kilworthy Park, Tavistock and St James Street, Okehampton.
