THE first half saw Mitre play some good football, but they were unable to create any chances. Only a lapse in concentration after an injury to a home player saw Mitre take the lead.

The second half saw Reserves take control of the early exchanges and soon they had a couple of goals, courtesy of two excellent finishes from Matt King. The best was a 40 yard lob over the advancing goalkeeper.

Unfortunately Argyle were unable to keep up the momentum, and soon Mitre had once again taken the initiative, scoring a couple of quick goals, making the score 3-2.

The last ten minutes saw a couple of great saves from Clift keep Argyle in the game, which paved the way for a late onslaught to make the final score 3-3.

The Reserves entertain Sampford Reserves at Simmons Park at 3pm on Saturday.
