FIRE crews were called to rescue two people trapped in a vehicle in flood water at Sheepwash Bridge on Monday afternoon.

Crews from Holsworthy, Torrington and the Special Rescue Team from Barnstaple attended the incident just before 1pm and helped the occupants of the vehicle wade out of the water to safety.
