A GROUP of teenage boys had to be rescued from Dartmoor by police on Sunday, after getting lost while training for the annual Ten Tors challenge.

The seven 14-year-olds were practising for the challenge when they became disorientated in low cloud.

The boys, from a school in Wiltshire, called police for help just after 4.30pm and were later found by the police helicopter near Great Kneeset in the north west of Dartmoor. They were lifted to safety and re-united with their teachers at Okehampton Military Camp.
