A MAN was lifted out through the back of his car after being involved in an accident at Horrabridge on Saturday evening.

The three car shunt occurred by the speed camera at Horrabridge. An ambulance crew lifted the man out of the vehicle on a spine board.

The man suffered some whiplash injuries but was conscious throughout his release.

Tavistock and Yelverton fire crews also attended the scene, but the ambulance crew were able to lift the man out of the vehicle without having to cut the roof off.
