COMPLAINTS from members of the public that they will not be able to use any of the tennis courts in the Meadows during the week of a junior tennis championship were considered by town councillors on Tuesday.

The council's properties committee heard that alternative facilities were on offer at Tavistock Community College, but Cllr Judith Williams said those courts were already in use by TACRA.

It was agreed that next year the tennis club would be consulted to see whether at least one court could be made available to the public.
