SOUTH West Water is expected to be reprimanded tomorrow (Friday) by Dartmoor National Park for flouting planning restrictions when building its controversial new forestry shed at Burrator Reservoir.

But the authority does not expect to take any other action to force compliance with the plan submitted.

Permission was granted in March 1999, despite protests, for the erection of the building on an historic site. But the shed deviated from the planning permission in several areas of construction and in the obliteration of the remains of the stone age Mullicraft Farm by a hard-standing area.

This action brought censure, particularly from the Dartmoor Society, although SWW denied excavating outside the approved area.
