TWO fire appliances from Okehampton were called to the village hall car park in Bratton Clovelly just after 8.30am last Thursday, following reports that chemicals were leaking from drums left in the car park. A support pump from Ivybridge also attended the incident but on arrival it was discovered the three 25-litre containers and one 30-litre drum, containing unidentified liquids, were not leaking. West Devon Borough Council was notified and was responsible for removing the containers.
