DO you need help with your housing situation? Perhaps you need advice on your rent payments or have a house you want to let. If so, West Devon Borough Council is holding a series of surgeries where people can speak to a housing adviser. Daytime and evening surgeries are held across the borough every month to enable as many people as possible to attend. They are open to everyone, including tenants, landlords, owner-occupiers and anyone with a specific housing issue. No appointment is necessary. Housing is a key priority of West Devon Borough Council, which works to improve housing conditions for vulnerable households, provides support for the homeless and in partnership to provide affordable housing. The evening surgeries are held at: l Tavistock Library every second Monday in the month from 5pm to 7pm. l Okehampton Library, first Tuesday of the month from 5pm to 7pm. In addition, daytime surgeries are being held at: l Wesley House, Princetown from 9.30am to 12.30pm on Thursday February 9; Thursday March 9; Thursday May 11; Thursday June 15; Thursday July 13 and Thursday September 14. l Briar Tor, Yelverton, from 9.30am to 12.30pm on Wednesday 22nd February; Wednesday March 22 and Wednesday April 26. l Hatherleigh Town Hall from 2pm to 4pm on Wednesday February 15, Thursday March 30 and Thursday April 27.
