THE Royal British Legion, Tavistock Branch, will be holding a short service of remembrance at the town's War Memorial on Friday, May 8 at 11am, on the 70th anniversary of VE Day. The service will be to honour all those who have fought, were injured in body or mind, or made the ultimate sacrifice for our country in all conflicts, and in particular, those who helped to achieve victory in Europe in 1945.
