ANYONE inspired by the Olympic sailing events at Weymouth during the last fortnight can show off their own nautical skills — albeit on a slightly smaller scale — at an event in Chagford this weekend.

The town's open air swimming pool will be hosting a model boat regatta on Sunday, August 19 at 2pm. The swimming pool committee, which is organising the event, is hoping lots of people will come down with their model boats and picnics and enjoy a fun few hours racing on the pool.
