TWICE in the past week we have had cyclists on the Chub Tor section of Route 27 knock on our door to tell us that there are animals roaming on the cycle path. The first complaint was that there was a flock of sheep blocking the cycle way and the second that there was a cow wandering onto the cycle way. Both men wanted to know who they should report the problem to. I explained to each of them that they were cycling through open moorland, albeit along a track that is bordered by a number of houses and that they should expect to see ponies, sheep and cows but they were adamant that 'something should be done about it'. I despair and can only think that the donning of Lycra riding gear does something to the brain. S Woollard Yelverton
