AIR Cadets from Plymouth, Okehampton, Ivybridge and Cornwall will descend on Tavistock this Sunday, February 8, to mark the 74th anniversary of the formation of the Air Training Corps.
Two hundred cadets and 30 staff will march to St Eustachius' Chuch for their ATC Sunday Service.
The parade will be led by the Wing Band and Squadron Banners.
2312 (Tavistock) Squadron is supplying drummers to the band, cadets to read the prayers, ushers in the church and cadets to march in the parade.
The band will play two pieces of music during the service and the address will be made by Simon Bourne, Chaplain to 2443 (Okehampton) Squadron.
The Tavistock unit was formed in 1957. CO Sqn Ldr John Olver said: 'This is the first time the whole Wing has come to Tavistock for ATC Sunday.
All parents, friends, ex-cadets and ex-members of staff are welcome to come to the service which starts at 3pm.'
