WEAR IT RED ? that?s what a local heart charity will be saying on Valentine?s Day when it launches a new fundraising initiative. HeartSWell South West, which is committed to supporting heart sufferers, their partners and carers, wants as many businesses and schools as possible to take part in what it hopes will become a fun annual event for the region. The charity is asking people to wear as little or as much red clothing as they want, although it says head to toe with dyed red hair would be fantastic! Its suggested contribution is £1 to Wear it Red but a fine of £2 if you do not participate because your ?heart?s not in it?. HeartSWell raises funds for the purchase of equipment for the cardiology department at Derriford Hospital which serves patients from all over the South West.
