THE Rector of the Whiddon parishes will be under the spotlight during a light-hearted evening discussing desert island discs in South Zeal.

Rev Paul Seaton-Burn will be put in the hot seat in the Victory Hall on Friday, July 13 from 7.30pm, to discuss the eight disks, one book and luxury item he would take with him if stranded on a desert island.

Rev Seaton-Burn will be discussing his choices with Maggie Clark, chair of the Throwleigh Dartmoor Commoners' Association. The fun evening promises an opportunity to find out a little more about the new team rector. The evening will be hosted by Friends of Throwleigh Church in collaboration with other groups from within the Chagford Benefice. Any donations received on the night will go to Okehampton Foodbank.
