Horrabridge Rangers U13s 12

Tavistock Thistles U13s 1

HORRABRIDGE dominated from start to finish, scoring six goals in each half of the game.

The away side started brightly and opened the scoring when Cooper scored with a good strike from 18 yards. Rangers picked their game up and started to pass the ball well, finding an equaliser five minutes later when Max Burgess produced a pin-point cross for Billy Rawlinson to head home from 12 yards.

The home side began to find holes in the visiting defence and David Milligan and Max Burgess both added goals in quick succession.

Horrabridge could have added to their tally a lot more, but Thistles' keeper Jack Ford made several fine saves. Horrabridge continued to play good football and further goals from Aaron Johnson, Alex Madar and a 20 yard screamer from Courtney Fry sealed a good first half display.

Horrabridge started the second half brightly and passed the ball well, with Max Burgess and Jake Murrain dominating the midfield and creating several chances. Visiting keeper Ford again made some good saves.

David Milligan scored with a good strike from 14 yards and completed his hat-trick minutes later when he met Burgess's clever through ball to round the keeper and put the ball in the empty net.

Burgess scored his second when he beat three defenders and blasted the ball into the corner of the goal.

Aaron Johnson also added his second when he shot home from close range after good work from Murrain and Fry. David Milligan scored two more goals with a couple of neat finishes to take his tally to five for the match.
