Horrabridge Rangers 4

AFTER a run of three close games without a win Horrabridge returned to winning ways against a determined Roborough.

Kicking downhill, Horrabridge took an early lead with a goal from leading scorer Sam Cooper.

The rest of the first half saw both teams going close but Horrabridge suffered a setback when captain Alex Cuthbert had to be replaced after only 15 minutes due to a leg injury.

The second half started with nothing between the teams, but after excellent build-up play from Sam Branch and Cooper Horrabridge scored a second, a well taken goal from Jamie Hall.

Roborough began to tire and Horrabridge completed the scoring with two more goals from Cooper.

Goalkeeper Toby Chapman and defenders Ben Wyatt, Dan Turner, Luke Westlake/Jeffrey, Ed Hobbs and Tom Narraway's hard work enabled Horrabridge to keep another clean sheet.
