THE British Heart Foundation's Great West Ramble is an ideal way to take some sociable exercise while raising money to help the fight against heart disease.

The ramble will take place on Sunday, October 26 in Exeter, starting at 8am, and is a chance to discover some of the city's hidden gems during the 12 mile walk, following the Green Circle walk route.

The event is suitable for all abilities and team entries as well as individual entries are invited.

The cost is £10 per adult, £5 for accompanied under 16s, with a higher fee if you register on the day.

Registration fees only cover the organisational costs of the event, so participants are asked to collect sponsorship for their participation.
