THE Tamar Valley Male Voice Choir would like to thank those residents of West Devon communities who supported the successful annual gala concert held at St Eustachius’ Church Tavistock on June 20, where the guest artist was Aled Wyn Davies.

The charity given support by this year’s Gala Concert was TASS (Tavistock Area Support Services) and a cheque for £1,050 was recently presented to Andy Lyle of TASS, where it is going towards the purchase of a single person wheelchair accessible vehicle.

Andy said: ‘It is with support by local groups such as this that allows us to develop the much needed work of TASS.

‘Tamar Valley Male Voice Choir have helped us to purchase the single person wheelchair accessible vehicle which will make a big difference to wheelchair users in our area and we would like to thank them for such a marvellous concert.’

The next concert given by The Tamar Valley Male Voice Choir will be in support of ShelterBox, the Cornish charity which does so much disaster relief worldwide.
