THERE is a chance to raise issues and questions with your local representative this weekend as Devon County Councillor Christine Marsh holds the first of a series of monthly advice surgeries.
Former town mayor Cllr Mrs Marsh said she was surprised how many people still didn?t understand how local government works and which areas different local authorities have responsibility for.
Cllr Marsh will be holding the first of the monthly surgeries at the Red Lion Yard entrance to Market Hall, this Saturday between 10am- and noon.
She will be holding the surgeries on the first Saturday of every month, giving people an opportunity to come along and raise issues important to them or find out more about how local government works.
