YOUNGSTERS enjoyed a party to help celebrate a West Devon Rainbow group's tenth birthday.
The fourth Tavistock Rainbow Unit held a party with a cake to celebrate the anniversary and invited past Rainbows, leaders and those who helped set the unit up 10 years ago.
Rainbows are the youngest section of Girl Guiding — an international association of girls and women of all ages from five years upwards in Brownies, Guides and Rangers.
Rainbows do lots of different, fun and interesting things at their weekly meetings in a safe environment, such as craft, games, singing, outdoor trips and visits, themed evenings and lots more.
The Fourth Tavistock Rainbows Unit meets at Tavistock Methodist Church on Monday evenings and the First Tavistock Rainbows Unit meets on a Thursday evening at the Guide Hall.
The waiting list is quite small at the moment, so if anyone who has a child five years old or younger who would like to join Rainbows, please contact Louise Hooper on 01822 618635.
