BBC Radio Devon broadcaster and Plymouth Argyle commentator Gordon Sparks visited Horrabridge Primary School on Friday to open a newly constructed covered play area for early years? children. The covered area showed its worth immediately because it rained throughout the event! Gordon answered pupils? questions on his experiences as a broadcaster and gave vital pointers as to the preparation and content of their page on the school?s website, http://www.horrabridge-primary.devon.sch.uk">www.horrabridge-primary.devon.sch.uk He also enjoyed a school lunch, met parents and children across the school and presented certificates at the weekly celebration assembly, at which staff from Tavistock Library and Westmoor Vet Centre also presented prestigious awards.
