THE race is on for Yelverton's Rotary club to raise funds for an international charity project.

The Rotary Club of Yelverton has organised a race night to raise money for a water well for the El Shaddai Charitable Trust in Goa, India.

Eight races will take place during the evening, and Rotary International will match all funds that are raised on the night.

There will be prizes for the winners of each of the races, with extra winnings for the owners of the winning horses.

The race night will take place at the Yelverton Memorial Hall tomorrow (Friday) at 7.30pm, with the first race starting at 7.45pm. Entrance £3 and refreshments will be available.
