NEARLY £500 was raised for local charity Hospiscare by the Mayor of Okehampton?s charity race night held last Friday (March 18). The venue for the fun evening organised by Mayor of Okehampton Cllr Tony Leech was the Charter Hall. Hospiscare provides care and support for people with life-threatening illnesses and their families, and is the mayor?s chosen charity during his year in office.
