THE Castle Quilters of Okehampton held a successful coffee morning on Saturday September 3.

The quilters were in the Charter Hall to raise funds for the transportation costs of 15 quilts made by the group for the Provadia Children's Home in Bulgaria. The quilts were on show for visitors to see.

The event raised £300.

Susan Enderson from the Castle Quilters expressed thanks to everyone involved in the making of the quilts, those who helped at the coffee morning and everyone who turned out and supported the event.
