A HAND-SEWN double quilt was among the prizes in a draw that raised more than £1,300 for the Triangle Centre in Tavistock. The draw was made at the centre by Tavistock town mayor Anne Johnson. The quilt had been made by attendees of the centre and 46 other prizes were on offer. Organisers thanked in particular Faith Dingle and Nona Pang, those who sold tickets and local businesses who donated prizes. The Triangle Centre provides professional outreach support for cancer patients, their families and carers. No appointments are needed at the drop-in centre, which meets every Friday from 10am to 4pm at the Tavistock Clinic in Plymouth Road.
