IT has been an inactive Christmas and New Year for the Lambs.

The Boxing Day clash away to Liskeard fell victim to the weather and last Saturday?s eagerly awaited meeting with St Blazey had to be postponed due to their involvement in the twice postponed Cornwall Senior Cup tie with Porthleven.

However, all was not lost as a full training session was held on the 28th with the P&D side victors over the Carlsberg squad by 4-2.

This Saturday sees the quarter-final games of the Carlsberg League Cup with the Lambs having no part, having been knocked out in the last round by Callington.

Secretary Phil Lowe, despite valiant efforts, failed to get a fixture last Saturday and at the time of going to press was still trying to rearrange a fixture for this Saturday.

The only action sees the P&D side take on Wessex Rangers at Yelverton this Saturday in the league with a 2.15pm kick-off.
