HAILED as the greatest Freddie Mercury impersonator in the world, Scott Maley will appear live at The Wharf, Tavistock, in November, fronting the tribute band founded by him — Queen on Fire. Scott does not just look and sound like Freddie Mercury — he succeeds in recreating on stage the personality and charisma of the great performer. Formerly called 'Killer Queen', the tribute group, under their new name of 'Queen on Fire', have topped the bill at major venues throughout Britain, Europe and Asia, gaining recognition as the UK's Number One Queen tribute band. The rocketing popularity of Queen on Fire has been attributed in part to their ability to recreate a 'live experience' for their audiences, through the use of authentic costumes and instruments. A blistering performance by Mercury impersonator, Scott Maley, is an outstanding key feature of the show. Queen on Fire will be appearing as a standing event, at The Wharf on November 18 at 8pm. In addition, there will be 30 bookable seats selling at a small extra charge on a 'first come, first served' basis. Throughout the evening, a barbecue will be held on the patio.
