WITH National Quaker Week in full swing this week, Tavistock Quakers will be holding a stall in Tavistock's Pannier Market tomorrow (Friday), where people will be able to find out more about the religion.

Lots of information will be available, and there will be a chance to talk with local Quakers about their beliefs, way of worship and Quaker involvement locally and beyond.

At the heart of this is 'The Peace Testimony' which is about 'deeds not creeds' and about a way of living which is relevant to today's world.

Tavistock Quakers meet for worship at the Friends Meeting House, 4 Canal Road, in the Bedford Car Park, at 10am on Sundays and at 12.30pm on the last Wednesday of the month.

Everyone is welcome to attend the meetings. For more information visit the website http://www.swquakers.org.uk">www.swquakers.org.uk
