IT was a real recipe for success when celebrity chef Peter Gorton brought his culinary skills to Horrabridge School last week.

The master chef gave a cooking demonstration to help raise funds for the after-school cookery club. He was thanked by club organiser Mandy Parkes and the pupils.

Mandy is aiming to buy a full set of 35 aprons for the infants and juniors and has produced a recipe book to raise the money.

She said: 'The recipe book contains all the dishes we make at cookery club which are easy to make and great fun for all the family.'

The recipe books, priced at £3, are available from the school.
