A HOLE in one on from Harold ?H? Penna was just enough to win the professional?s prize day for himself and Okehampton Golf Club vice-captain Gareth Holt on Saturday.

Their 45 points in the better ball stableford edged out Bob Davies and Nick Heath on the back 9.

The glorious weather, combined with club professional Ashley Moon?s excellent hospitality, ensured an enjoyable day for the 150 players who took part.

A busy week at the club saw two friendly matches played against Looe and Churston. Both were won by Okehampton, 5 to 1 and 3 1/2 to 1 1/2 respectively.

An additional medal was played on Sunday. An excellent net 60 from Paul MacDonald ensured a clear win by three strokes.
