KEY?stage two pupils at Lifton Primary school learned all about the Victorian era last term.

The children learned about all aspects of life in Victorian times, and went to school dressed as Victorian school children to experience education as it would have been in that era.

They were in for a shock when they discovered that their teachers and classroom assistants had transformed into strict school mistresses!

Class teachers Michaela Morfey and Hannah Eshraghi were thrilled with the way the children threw themselves into the Victorian role-playing, and felt it helped the topic to come alive and really sparked the imagination of the children.
