WOMEN and men are being invited to gather at Tavistock Methodist Church on March 1, for a Women's World Day of Prayer Service.

Women's World Day of Prayer is an organisation which creates a network of Christian women across the globe.

This year the programme of worship has been prepared by women in France.

The theme chosen by the women of the French committee is, 'I was a Stranger and You Welcomed Me'.

The speaker for the event will be Mrs Rene Chambers and the service will start at 2pm.
