THREE West Devon potters are among 100 top European ceramists selected from almost 300 applicants to appear at a prestigious ceramics festival in Nottinghamshire later this month.
The Earth and Fire Festival is held at Rufford Country Park on June 26 and 27. Joining top professionals from all over Europe at the event will be Svend Bayer, a wood-firing potter from Sheepwash, Clive Bowen, an internationally-renowned creator of traditional domestic slipware from Shebbear Pottery and Jenny Hayle, a ceramic animal sculptor from Coryton.
The festival will include goods for sale, top class demonstrations and a wide range of exhibits.
